I am often asked what I do for a living. It becomes complicated because I am a combination of a Consultant and Coach. So, what do I call myself? I have fashioned myself to be a Hybrid Coach.

When we think of the word hybrid often times we think of a combination electric and internal combustion engine vehicle. The dictionary defines a hybrid as, “A thing made by combining different elements; a mixture.”

A Hybrid Coach is a mixture of a Consultant, and Coach into one professional. Partnering with a Hybrid Coach will give you many advantages that you wouldn't receive working with a pure consultant, or life coach.

Consulting is mostly a “left-brained” activity. It's about taking linear steps toward a specific goal. Coaching is predominately “right-brained”. It's about growth and evolution. That said, consultants and coaches, use both sides of their brains!

A Hybrid Coach has the background of a Consultant having the expertise in specific areas of professional and business development. You will have technical advice available to you when you need it. Consultants are relied on to understand the problem and present solutions that prompt thoughtful client self-discovery. Eric Miller has also been trained to diagnose and help his client with emotional problems, deep rooted emotional blockages of the past resulting in dysfunctional perceptions that are limiting top performance.

Lastly, a Hybrid Coach has the coaching skills that will help you to uncover the answers for yourself. The Coach partners with you in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximize your personal and professional potential. The coaching component of the Hybrid Coach is also future oriented. Eric Miller has the skillset to help you attain what you want in the future, and then guidance to get you there.
